Thanks to everyone who came out today to watch the Tour of Britain race through the village and cheer on the riders. It was wonderful to see so many people lining the route and cheering the cyclists on.

The cyclists sped through Framlingham and on to Saxtead and Dennington as part of Stage 1  of the race, bringing with them a real buzz of excitement and putting our village briefly in the national spotlight with coverage on live TV. 

We hope the Tour of Britain will inspire some of you to get on your bikes and enjoy our beautiful local lanes – at a more leisurely pace!
